HPUX : System Tool for Blade Servers – CPROP

Procedured describes how to use system tool cprop in blade servers.

Procedures

As CSTM is not supported on blade servers, cprop utility can be used to gather system info. ·               To list the components which can be queried by cprop :-  Check status tab for any error. #-> /opt/propplus/bin/cprop –list  ·         Check summary of the device #-> /opt/propplus/bin/cprop -summary -c Memory  ·         Query the detail view of the device #-> /opt/propplus/bin/cprop -detail -d Memory:5cb50569x139ce0d  Use man cprop;  man cprop_healthtest to get more info about this utility.
